The Cenotes are a delicate ecosystem with many unique forms of life. We require our divers to not wear mosquito repellant or sun cream which could damage the environment.
The formations have taken many thousands of years to grow. We must be in control of our buoyancy so we don’t crash into them and cause damage.
Cameras must be used responsibly. If they cause a distraction to the diver to an extent that the guide feels that safety or the environment is being compromised, the guide can look after the camera for your safety. Some Cenotes have additional charges for cameras.
Deliberate damage or graffiti of any kind will not be tolerated. It will make us very angry. No touching of any kind please.
